Called Frank on the hottest long weekend of the year, and not only did he fix the problem swiftly — he was able to fix other issues that 2 previous electricians couldn't fix. Thank God for Frank. Amazing service.

/ Questions

Common questions.

What homeowners and condo boards usually want to know before they call. If you've got one we missed, just ask Frank.

01

Do you pull the ESA permit, or do I?

We do. For any job that needs ESA inspection — panel upgrades, service changes, sub-panels, new circuits — we file the permit, schedule the inspector, and meet them at the house. You don't lift a finger and you keep the paperwork for your records.

02

What does a panel upgrade cost in Mississauga?

Most 100A → 200A residential upgrades run $2,800 – $4,200 including the ESA permit, new main panel, breakers, and inspection. The variance is whether your meter base needs replacing and how clean the wiring behind the panel is. Always quoted in writing before we start.

03

Is my old aluminum or knob-and-tube wiring safe?

Aluminum branch wiring is safe if terminations are properly pigtailed or replaced with CO/ALR-rated devices — we do that retrofit. Knob-and-tube is usually fine as long as it's not buried in insulation. We'll inspect, photograph, and tell you what's risky vs. what isn't — without trying to sell you a full rewire you don't need.

04

Same-day service — for real?

When the calendar allows. Frank picks up the phone, asks what's happening, and tells you straight: same day, tomorrow, or next week. If we can't make same day, we'll tell you who can.

05

Do you work in condos?

Yes — most of our work is condos and townhouses. We know the property-manager dance, we work clean (drop sheets, tarps, shoes off if asked), and we patch and paint after the work so you don't have to call a second trade.

06

Are you licensed and insured?

ECRA/ESA licensed (ESA #7011842) and fully insured — $5M liability, WSIB cleared. Happy to send the certificates to your property manager or condo board before the job starts.
